THIS FEEDER HAS DONE PART OF WHAT IT WAS MEANT TO DO.IT HAS DETERRED THE RESIDENT SQUIRRELS, ALTHOUGH THEY TRY.IT HAS DETERRED THE STARLINGS AS WELL.IT HAS EVEN DETERRED THE HOUSE SPARROWS.UNFORTUNATELY IT HAS ALSO DETERRED THE DESIRED BIRDS.THIS FEEDER HAS BEEN UP FOR A MONTH AND SO FAR I HAVE SEEN A TITMOUSE ACTUALLY INSIDE THE CAGE ON TWO OCCASIONS, AND JUST YESTERDAY SAW A DOWNY WOODPECKER FEEDING FOR THE FIRST TIME.I'VE SEEN ANOTHER TITMOUSE HANGING ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CAGE TRYING TO FIGURE A WAY TO GET IN.AS FAR AS QUALITY GOES, IT SEEMS WELL MADE, ALTHOUGH IT'S A LITTLE TRICKY GETTING THE LID FASTENED CORRECTLY.I STILL KEEP FINDING WAYWARD PEANUTS IN MY LAUNDRY ROOM FROM MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT GETTING THE LID SECURED.IT FELT TIGHT, BUT AS I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY, IT WASN'T COMPLETELY FASTENED.I HOPING THE BIRDS WILL FINALLY FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET INSIDE THE CAGE AND FEED.Click Here to see more reviews about: Gardman BA01275 Squirrel Proof Cage Peanut Bird Feeder
