Gardner/Homestead 3710 Thistle Sak Finch Feeder Review

I received the Thistle sock in about a week and it was much bigger than I expected. I filled the sock and left for two days. When I returned the seed was on the ground having leaked out from two shredded holes on the corners at the bottom seam. I sewed the seam again and repaired the bottom. Might be a good idea to reinforce the bottom seam before you put it outside. I filled the sock half full and put it out again Seems to be working. There is also a lot more seed on the ground than the last smaller sock, but the ground feeders take care of that. Perhaps next time I'll consider a more sturdy tube feeder.It's a great winter Finch and Pine Siskin food source and always has birds feeding on it during and after our Colorado snowstorms.
