The minute you screw on the top of the feeder, all of the liquid flows out of the bottom of the feeder.It will not hold any kind of liquid at all.

I have tried several different Oriole feeders either made or sold by Perky Pet.They are all poorly designed and manufactured.

The O-ring will be white, clear or red in color. Lubricate the O-ring with common household vegetable oil, canola oil, etc. (this can be done by pouring a little oil on a paper towel and applying it to the O-ring or wetting your finger with vegetable oil and applying it to the O-ring). Place the O-ring back on the feeder and secure the cap.
