A fantastic product which I purchased solely in my attempt to foil the starlings (and other large birds) attempts to rob my suet feeders. I have to tell you, the day I started using this product the starlings met their match! Since they are no longer able to cling to the feeder, they will, with great frustration and for my entertainment, fly from the ground up to the feeder in their vain attempts to get food. After repeated failed attempts they eventually moved on. In addition to my total satisfaction as to use, the construction of the unit is solid and certainly designed for a lifetime of use. The use of recycled materials in the construction a big selling point for me. If you have a problem with bigger birds stealing the suet from from your feeders, I would suggest you give serious thought to the purchase of this product.
