I'm sorry but my goldfinches couldn't find the holes.They just stood up & smacked the side wall looking for the hole.I gave it to a friend & hers figured it out fine.I bought a little 'sock feeder' & my gold finches are happy now.I gave it over 2 months try & they just looked at it funny.I recommend this if you have above average goldfinches.
