I've had this feeder for several years. It's the most widely used feeder I have other than the thistle feeder.This feeder keeps the red winged black birds and other "seed hogs" from eating all of the seed, but allows the smallest birds such as finches to eat.It only takes a few days for the finches to figure out how to get under the cover.
