This is the third cling-a-wing bird feeder I've purchased over the years.I don't recall having difficulty assembling the others.The swivel cover for the seed receptacle is hard to move the first time.You need to FORCE it, which doesn't seem logical.And the metal bolt that holds the whole feeder together doesn't protrude from the bottom for the connecting nut to have a good "grab" on it.I ended up filing off some of the plastic around the bottom hole so that the bolt could stick out farther.Then I could get 4-5 good turns on the nut!Now it's fine.Click Here to see more reviews about: GLOBE BIRD FEEDER 6"
