I highly recommend this bluebird feeder. It's attractive, functional, and flexible in application. Of all the feeders I've seen in person at the birding store, and in pictures online and in catalogs, this one seems to have one of the best designs. The Spuds and the bluebirds give the Looker feeder two thumbs and two beaks up. Be patient with this feeder and its used by your bluebirds. It took over a week for our bluebird pair to finally begin using the feeder. They didn't seem to understand the concept of entering through the side holes. I removed one of the Plexiglas sides and replaced it with a one inch highpiece of plastic that was short enough for the bluebirds to hop over, yet kept the mealworms in.
I like that this feeder keeps the bluebirds and bluebird food dry and also keeps out larger birds.
