This feeder has held up far better than the cheap one I had before, and it works really well. I often look outside and see goldfinches on every single one of the perches, and I haven't had any trouble with squirrels because they don't really like nyjer seed. It's easy to clean, which is important for keeping birds healthy. As I said, it has held up well so far and even if something does break, there's a lifetime guarantee. The cheap feeders do work too, but they aren't as easy to clean and they fall apart quickly.
